A Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Erika. I have been vegan for almost 6 years (officially on 10/05/2022), a writer since I was a child, and I have been a nomad for my entire life. I love to eat, I love to travel, I love to express myself. Food photography can be seen as cheesy and lame, but I think it is so fun. Every picture is unique, based on the farms where the food was grown, the hands of the chef, the lighting of the room- all to create a unique photographic imprint of this time in history when food is evolving so rapidly (and for such a beautiful cause). Vegan food and vegan food photography are both extremely enjoyable things, and I just cannot resist them. The time is ripe, my friends!
So, here we are! Welcome to my traveling vegan food blog- Nomad Vegan Blog. For the last 8 or so years, I have been travelling with others and independently, and in the last 6 years I have sought out and enjoyed all kinds of vegan food. This includes soul food, raw food, Israeli food, Mediterranean food, Indian food, Italian food, Polish food, French food, Chinese food, Japanese food, Thai food, Mexican food, South American food, Vietnamese food, traditional American food, fast food, comfort food, BBQ, health food, southern food, fusion cuisine, food trucks, and more. I am on a journey to find the best vegan food in America. Foodies, welcome! Let's make this space kind, respectful, and solely focused on food, love, and all the good things in life.
With care,
Erika.
